SHALOM , TO THE ELECTED GOVERNMENT OF THE CHOSEN PEOPLE
The world’s democracies stand by as the Israeli government, devoid of any moral core, continues the mass murder of Palestinians in Gaza, under the pretence of caring for the remaining hostages. When Jehovah made Jews his chosen people, what he forgot to do when Netanyahu, Katz, Gvir and Smotrich were born was to give them a” nephesh,” which translates as a soul. The Israeli government broke the ceasefire and then expected Hamas to capitulate, which they did not. The Jewish State then targeted and bombed the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, the last remaining functioning hospital in Gaza run by the Anglican Church. Added to this war crime, which is one of hundreds, the Jewish State has stopped all aid from entering Gaza. Aid, in the form of food, medicine and fuel, which every Gazan relies on to survive. Again, the IDF have turned safe havens such as the tented city of al-Mawasi into a graveyard. In a previous blog called the Gaza Ghetto, I compared what is being done in Gaza with the Warsaw Ghetto. I now believe that the war crimes being perpetrated by the Jewish State in Gaza surpass the horrors of the Warsaw Ghetto.
The total number killed by the IDF has surpassed 50,000, with many thousands buried under rubble. The rubble of homes, schools, civic spaces, hospitals, and places of worship, where now, 2 million people are trying to survive. Smotrich who sounds more and more like a Nazi has said that “The time has come to open the gates of hell on Hamas.” This is code to restart and complete the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians surviving in Gaza, fulfilling his warped dream, “From the river to the sea, not a Palestinian will be seen.”
Douglas Murray, a so-called right-wing pseudo-intellectual and friend of Trump’s, got ten minutes on Newsnight to spout rubbish. He said that Hamas was a death cult. Hamas are a lot of things, but a death cult, they are not. Hamas was formed during the first intifada in 1987, when over 1000 Palestinians, including children, were killed by Israeli forces. Without any evidence, he said that UK universities and the West more generally had adopted the language and narrative of Hamas. He said that this would encourage a culture of violence. He talked about October 7th and the horrors perpetrated by Hamas, which any human being with a conscience can empathise with. In my blogs on Gaza, I have condemned Hamas’s barbaric actions on October 7th. However, not on one occasion did he mention or show any empathy for the 30,000 women and children killed by the IDF, and he simply overlooked war crimes perpetrated by the Jewish State. He, like many far-right commentators, is trying to rewrite the history of the region. Is this the type of callous and cold-hearted individual who spouts bullshit that we must listen to on the BBC? GB NEWS, Fox News or Russia Today were especially set up for arrogant, right-wing pseudo-intellectuals like Murray.
Finally, twelve aid agencies declared that the resumption of Israel’s onslaught is nothing short of a death sentence for children and their families. After 50 days of no aid getting into Gaza, the aid system is on the brink of collapse. Though there is now a majority of Israeli citizens who support a cessation of the war, this majority is passive, as were many Germans during the Holocaust. The future of the Jewish state lies in the hands of the Jewish people, not a bunch of Führers masquerading as democrats and God’s chosen people.
